Van Damme’s film has been cancelled - 2007-08-16
According to reports, the movie “Smashing Machine” starring Jean-Claude Van Damme has been called off. Apparently, the actor doesn’t want to disappoint his fans because the film is allegedly too bad. Van Dammed has high standars and he wants his moviegoers to have fun.
Jean-Claude Van Damme visits Russian President - 2007-05-15
Russian President Vladimir Putin invited Belgian star Jean-Claude Van Damme and other martial arts fighters to Saint Petersburg for a martial arts contest. Putin welcomed the fighters with tea and cakes at the Konstantinovsky palace. Russian champion Fedor Yemelyanenko beat US rival Matt “The Law” Lindland in the “Russia versus America” contest.
